Kevin O’Brien - CEO

Kevin O’Brien is the Founder and CEO of the O’Brien Realty Group. Kevin began his career in 1982 as a property manager of small to medium sized distressed apartment properties. In 1983, he began acquiring, renovating and brokering apartment complexes. As a “turnaround” specialist for the past thirty years, Mr. O’Brien has acquired, renovated and managed forty distressed multifamily projects and revitalized more than thirty-five hundred apartments. In addition, he has acted as General Partner or Managing Member of twenty-four separate investment partnerships. Kevin is a Connecticut native and currently lives in Aspen, Colorado.

Sheridan A. JenkinsRegional Manager

obrienSheridan A. Jenkins joined the O'Brien team in October 2008. Her career began in 1996. Over a sixteen year period, Ms. Jenkins has held the following positions: leasing agent, assistant manager, property manager, facilities/ building manger and senior community manager. Prior to joining the O'Brien Realty Group she worked with a New Orleans based asset management company where she was a multi-site supervisor, and then director of operations for a portfolio of properties that included five (5) apartment communities consisting of over 1,800 units. Her experience and concentration has included lease-ups, rehabilitations / renovations, the implementation of preventive maintenance and resident retention programs. Her focus at O'Brien Realty will be to manage the New Orleans area properties. Sheridan holds the National Leasing Professional Designation and she recently completed the real estate sales licensing education for Louisiana. Ms. Jenkins is proud to be lifelong resident of New Orleans.

Jay Guffey - Construction Supervisor

Jay Guffey is our Construction Supervisor in New Orleans. Mr. Guffey has over twenty years of experience in general construction, remodeling and renovation with special expertise in carpentry, replacement windows, framing and exterior siding. He recently completed a $7,500,000 Katrina-related renovation of Summerfield Apartments on time and under budget. Jay is currently renovating Emerald Pointe, a 408-unit sister property to Summerfield. Mr. Guffey is from Oklahoma and has been a New Orleans resident for the past twenty-three years.

Shannon Mulready  -  Information Technology Officer/ Bookkeeper

obrienShannon Mulready is the O’Brien Realty Group’s Information Technology Officer and Bookkeeper. Mr. Mulready has nine years of corporate experience in New York City and Connecticut in the legal, oil and technology fields. Shannon combines his substantial accounting expertise with extensive computer system knowledge and currently manages all of the company’s property management software. Shannon graduated from Central Connecticut State College and is a lifelong resident of Connecticut.

Danielle O'Brien  - Marketing Coordinator

obrienDanielle O'Brien is the Marketing Coordinator for O'Brien Realty Group. She joined the team in July of 2010 after taking some time after college to learn the property management business in Boca Raton, FL. She graduated from Florida Atlantic University in 2008, where she studied real estate and marketing. Danielle is originally from Connecticut, and now lives in Aspen, CO. Her favorite part of the business is using creativity to find new ways to lease apartments and keep other team members happy and motivated. In her free time, Danielle enjoys snowboarding, hiking, and spending time with friends, and family.

Trinise A. WalkerProperty Manager

obrienTrinise A. Walker joined O'Brien Realty Group in October 2008 as a property manager for Summerfield Apartment Homes in New Orleans, a 224 unit garden style apartment community. Ms. Walker began working in the multi-family housing industry in 1996. Her successful journey started as a leasing agent, assistant manager and then becoming a community manager. Ms. Walker has extensive knowledge of the local market and brings over sixteen years experience with both tax credit and conventional market rate communities ranging from 108 to 415 units. Ms. Walker is a lifelong resident of New Orleans.

Marily Rivera - Property Manager

obrienMarily Rivera has been working with the O'Brien group since 2006. She started with us as the property manager at Wellington Farms, but is now currently our manager at Oasis at Regal Oaks, a 280 unit apartment community in the Charlotte area. She is originally from El Salvador, but decided to move to the city of Charlotte in 1998. Marily studied accounting and real estate in school and has over 12 years experience in the business. Her favorite part of the business is marketing, which she has always been one of the best at.  In her free time, Marily enjoys watching movies, reading, and spending time with her family.

Mary Alvarez Assistant Property Manager

obrienMary Alvarez is the Assistant Manager at The Oasis at Regal Oaks, a 280 unit apartment community in Charlotte, NC. Ms. Alverez is focused serving and satisfying our residents. Mary strives to continually improve the living experience of our residents by delivering exceptional customer service. Ms. Alverez is fluent in Spanish and with 14 years experience; she is proficient in all aspects of apartment community management.
