Danielle Mills

Danielle Mills is the COO for O’Brien Realty Group. She joined the team in July of 2010 after taking some time after college to learn the property management business in Boca Raton, FL. She graduated from Florida Atlantic University in 2008, where she studied real estate and marketing. Danielle is originally from Connecticut and now lives in Aspen, CO. Her favorite part of the business is using creativity to find new ways to lease apartments and keep other team members happy and motivated. In her free time, Danielle enjoys snowboarding, hiking, and spending time with friends and family.
Conor O'Brien

Conor O’Brien joined O’Brien Realty Group in 2023 and serves as the company’s Director of Marketing. In his role, Conor oversees the firm’s marketing strategy while also contributing to day-to-day operations and broader strategic initiatives across the company.
Prior to joining O’Brien Realty Group, Conor spent two years as a residential real estate broker in Manhattan, where he developed firsthand experience in one of the country’s most competitive real estate markets. That background, combined with his growing expertise in the national multifamily industry, gives him a unique perspective on both the operational and client-facing sides of the business.
As a member of the O’Brien family and the next generation of the firm, Conor brings a fresh perspective to O’Brien Realty Group’s established practices. He is particularly focused on embracing new ideas, technologies, and processes that strengthen the company’s operations, enhance the client experience, and position the firm for continued growth.
Outside of work, Conor enjoys exploring New York City, skiing in Aspen, traveling, and spending time with family.
Kelly O'Brien

Kelly joined the O’Brien team in 2026, focusing on capital markets, acquisitions, and investments. She previously was a Vice President in Citigroup's Investment Bank, where she advised clients in Real Estate, Gaming & Lodging and Financial Institutions on over $20 billion of strategic transactions. Earlier in her career, Kelly held investment and strategy roles at MetaProp, Golub Capital, American Express and Northrop Grumman, building a broad foundation in investing, finance, and business development.
Kelly earned her MBA from Columbia Business School and her BA from Brown University, where she was a two-time NCAA Division I National Champion on the women’s rowing team. Outside of the office you can find her spending time with her husband and children, or at [solidcore].
Charles O'Brien

Charlie joined O'Brien Realty Group in 2026. He focuses on renovation, renter success, and corporate strategy. His career includes 8 years in the U.S. Navy as an Aerospace Maintenance Officer, where he specialized in leading Sailors in maintenance, supply, and project management. His tours of duty included maintenance management for F/A-18 aircraft with Strike Fighter Squadron 87 and Aircraft Powerplant maintenance onboard the USS NIMITZ. He completed three deployments during his time in the Navy. Prior to this, Charlie worked as a bond trader in New York City.
Charlie holds a B.S. in Business Administration from The King's College, New York City. During his time in the Navy he earned the coveted Professional Aerospace Maintenance Officer warfare device, and the 'Green belt' Six Sigma business management certification.
Sam O'Brien

Sam joined O'Brien Realty in January 2025, bringing over 10 years of real estate investing, real estate brokerage, and finance experience. In his role as Director of Development, he is responsible for selection and execution of alternative projects, while continuing his prior tax and insurance work for our existing properties. Sam is a licensed commercial real estate broker in North Carolina. He graduated from Boston College with a bachelor's degree in Economics and from NYU's Schack Institute of Real Estate with a master's degree in Real Estate Finance. He moved to North Carolina in 2016, where he lives with his wife, Petra, and 3 children.
Jay Guffey

Sheridan LaFrance

Sheridan LaFrance joined the O’Brien team in October 2008. Her focus at O’Brien Realty will be to oversee the management of the multifamily properties in Louisiana. Ms. LaFrance began her career in real estate management in 1996. Over the years she has successfully directed leasing activities, revenue management, and facility management for both commercial and residential assets. Prior to joining the O’Brien Realty Group she worked with a New Orleans based asset management company where she was a multi-site supervisor, and then director of operations for a portfolio of properties that included multiple apartment communities and commercial real estate. Her experience and concentration has included lease-ups, rehabilitations / renovations, the implementation of preventive maintenance and resident retention programs. Sheridan holds the Certified Apartment Portfolio Supervisor (CAPS) designation along with the National Leasing Professional Designation (NALP). Ms. LaFrance is proud to be lifelong resident of New Orleans.

Ellen joined the O’Brien Team in September 2012 and is our Regional Manager in North Carolina. Ellen’s experience includes 32 years in property management, 19 years in the Washington D.C. metro area and 8 years in the Wilmington, North Carolina area. She has held property management and senior property management positions, and her experience and proficiencies are in renovations, new construction through lease up and resident retention programs. Ellen is originally from Philadelphia, and she enjoys her workouts, the beach, and time with her family and grandchildren.

Orrin, a Baton Rouge native, has been with the O’Brien Family for 7 years, starting his career in leasing and property management. With a wide view of new ideas and structured information, he loves creating living opportunities for families. Orrin attended Southern University of Baton Rouge,LA & Berklee College of Music, in Boston, Massachusetts, studying piano education and vocal performance. He currently enjoys touring the states playing for various music festivals and concert performances. Licensed in the state of Louisiana, he definitely plans to leave his mark in the industry.
